[Present Indicative] Trago la pastilla con un poco de agua. → I swallow the pill with a bit of water.
[Present Perfect] El niño se ha tragado una moneda. → The child has swallowed a coin.
[Imperfect Indicative] Ella tragaba saliva antes de hablar en público. → She used to swallow hard (saliva) before speaking in public.
[Pluperfect Indicative] Ya se habían tragado todo el cuento sin dudar. → They had already swallowed the whole story (lie) without doubting.
[Preterite] Él tragó un trozo de pan muy grande. → He swallowed a very large piece of bread.
[Preterite Anterior] Apenas hubo tragado el veneno, llamó a emergencias. → As soon as he had swallowed the poison, he called emergency services.
[Future] Si no masticas bien, te tragarás un hueso. → If you don't chew well, you will swallow a bone.
