Usage Examples
[Present Indicative] Me consta que él dijo la verdad en el juicio. → I am certain (it is clear to me) that he told the truth.
[Present Perfect] Este libro ha constado de cinco capítulos largos. → This book has consisted of five long chapters.
[Imperfect Indicative] El antiguo código constaba de reglas muy estrictas. → The old code used to consist of very strict rules.
[Pluperfect Indicative] Ya nos había constado su desinterés por el proyecto. → We had already been aware (it was clear) of his lack of interest.
[Preterite] El informe constó de tres páginas detalladas. → The report consisted of three detailed pages.
[Preterite Anterior] Apenas hubo constado su error, pidió perdón. → As soon as his error was evident, he asked for forgiveness.
[Future] Tu participación constará en el acta oficial. → Your participation will be recorded (will appear) in the official record.
[Future Perfect] La deuda habrá constado en el registro mañana. → The debt will have appeared in the register by tomorrow.
[Conditional] Yo constaría mi apoyo si fuera necesario. → I would state (it would be clear) my support if necessary.
[Conditional Perfect] Habría constado en el contrato si lo hubiéramos pedido. → It would have appeared in the contract if we had asked.
