[Present Indicative] Cito las palabras exactas de mi autor favorito. → I quote the exact words of my favorite author.
[Present Perfect] El juez ha citado a los testigos para el lunes. → The judge has summoned the witnesses for Monday.
[Imperfect Indicative] Ella siempre citaba a Cervantes en sus discursos. → She always used to quote Cervantes in her speeches.
[Pluperfect Indicative] Ya lo habían citado varias veces sin éxito. → They had already summoned him several times without success.
[Preterite] El médico me citó a las cinco de la tarde. → The doctor made an appointment for me at five in the afternoon.
[Preterite Anterior] En cuanto hubo citado la fuente, el debate terminó. → As soon as he had cited the source, the debate ended.
[Future] El periódico citará tu nombre en la primera página. → The newspaper will cite your name on the front page.
[Future Perfect] Habrán citado a todos los implicados para mañana. → They will have summoned all those involved by tomorrow.
