Usage Examples

[Present Indicative] Acierto casi siempre en los exámenes. → I get it right almost always in exams.
[Present Perfect] Has acertado con la respuesta correcta. → You have guessed the correct answer.
[Imperfect Indicative] Él acertaba siempre en el blanco. → He used to hit the bullseye every time.
[Pluperfect Indicative] Ya habían acertado el código secreto. → They had already guessed the secret code.
[Preterite] Acerté el resultado del partido. → I guessed the result of the match correctly.
[Preterite Anterior] Apenas hubo acertado la combinación, la caja se abrió. → As soon as he had guessed the combination, the box opened.
[Future] Acertarás si sigues tu instinto. → You will be right if you follow your instinct.
[Future Perfect] Para entonces habrán acertado el diagnóstico. → By then they will have gotten the diagnosis right.
[Conditional] Yo acertaría si tuviera más pistas. → I would get it right if I had more clues.
[Conditional Perfect] Habría acertado si no me hubiera puesto nervioso. → I would have gotten it right if I hadn't gotten nervous.
