[Present Indicative] Sus ideas chocan con las mías. → His ideas clash with mine.
[Present Perfect] Los dos coches han chocado en la esquina. → The two cars have crashed at the corner.
[Imperfect Indicative] Las olas chocaban contra las rocas. → The waves used to crash against the rocks.
