Usage Examples
[Present Indicative] Mi nuevo perro se llama Max. → My new dog is named Max.
[Present Perfect] Ese lugar siempre se ha llamado así. → That place has always been named that way.
[Imperfect Indicative] La calle se llamaba de otra forma antes. → The street used to be named differently before.
[Pluperfect Indicative] Me dijeron que el barco ya se había llamado "Victoria". → They told me the ship had already been named "Victoria".
[Preterite] El niño se llamó como su abuelo. → The boy was named after his grandfather.
[Preterite Anterior] Apenas se hubo llamado a sí mismo experto, cometió un error. → As soon as he had called himself an expert, he made a mistake.
