[Imperfect Indicative] Él mentía constantemente sobre su pasado. → He used to lie constantly about his past.

[Pluperfect Indicative] Ya me había mentido tantas veces que no le creía. → He had already lied to me so many times that I didn't believe him.

[Preterite] Mentí sobre mi edad para entrar al club. → I lied about my age to enter the club.

[Preterite Anterior] Apenas hubo mentido ante el juez, se puso pálido. → As soon as he had lied before the judge, he turned pale.

[Future] Mentiré si es necesario para salvar la situación. → I will lie if it is necessary to save the situation.

[Future Perfect] Para cuando se descubra la verdad, ya habré mentido demasiado. → By the time the truth is discovered, I will have already lied too much.

[Conditional] Mentiría si te dijera que te quiero. → I would lie if I told you I love you.
